Antique Northwood Poinsettia Lattice bowl van opalescent glass

This is a beautiful piece of antique Northwood glass featuring the Christmas star trellis pattern, also known as Christmas glass, circa 1914. This piece is clear with opalescent edges. This pattern was first introduced by Northwood at Carnival Glass in 1912. Later, in 1914, it was also introduced in opalescent colors. The opalescent colors were not well received and were discontinued a year later, in 1915. It is approximately 22 cm wide and 7 cm high. It is in excellent condition.
