Antique french confit pot

This is an antique French confit jar. Characterized by the traditional, partially glazed finish. The top has an ochre or mustard yellow glaze. The bottom is unglazed, natural earthenware. Originally used for preserving food such as confit or oil. It has some small spots; see photos. Nothing major considering the jar's age. With a brown glaze, it's not very noticeable.
