Beautiful old baking mold

I still have a soft spot for it. Especially when the outside has turned such a beautiful light. You can hang it nicely on your shelf or place it upside down in a cupboard; it looks just like a cake this way. Also lovely to fill with flowers. This is an antique, weathered metal poffert pan or pudding mold with a patina, suitable for making a Groningen poffert or for decoration. These vintage baking molds are often used as decoration in a country or brocante kitchen because of their weathered appearance. Some variants are specifically designed to be used in a water bath for steaming pudding or cake. This one is beautifully lightly discolored from frequent use. Also lovely with flowers inside
