An antique French *brocante* cabinet from the Auvergne region. This type of piece is often used as a charming freestanding unit or a wall-mounted cabinet in a country-style or *brocante* interior. The cabinet has a weathered look with distinctive features: Material: Solid wood. Finish: Weathered, cream-white paint with a crackle effect and a rich, aged patina. Closure: Features an authentic metal sliding latch on the left side. It makes a lovely wall-mounted piece—perfect for displaying small mugs, for example. It shows minor signs of wear; please note the condition of the existing shelf and the fact that one shelf is missing. You could leave it as is or easily add a new shelf.
