Antique French plaquette

A distinctive and atmospheric antique wall plaque featuring a child’s head (a cherub or putto) set against an oval background. This is a solid, cast piece in high relief (3D) with a beautiful, weathered appearance. A true eye-catcher for those who love classic, *brocante*, or Shabby Chic styles!

📌 Specifications Type: Wall plaque/relief panel (cast as a single piece) made of plaster. Image: A detailed child’s head with blue eyes and curly hair, set against a dark, oval background. Style: Neoclassical / Baroque / Nostalgic. Hanging mechanism: Includes the original metal hanging loop on the top/reverse side.

✨ Condition The plaque is in an authentic, vintage condition with natural signs of age. There is some wear to the paint and light craquelé (fine cracking) visible along the edges (see photos), which only adds to the piece’s unique, antique charm and patina. A lovely item, perfect for displaying either lying flat or hung on a wall.
