This is a pink Art Deco pressed glass bowl, produced in Czechoslovakia, probably by Stölzle or Hermanova Hut, dating from the 1930s. This type of glassware is also known as "Depression glass." Characteristics Style: Art Deco, recognizable by its geometric design and clean lines. Material: Pressed glass in a salmon pink or "rosaline" shade. Production: Much of this type of glassware was produced in large quantities during the Depression (1930s-1940s) by Czech glassworks such as Stölzle and Hermanova Hut. Use: The bowls were often used as fruit bowls, serving dishes, or decorative objects. Large bowl with 6 smaller bowls. Ideal for dessert. Rarely available complete.
